About Sonya Kenkare, MD
Dr. Sonya Kenkare received her Undergraduate degree from University of Illinois at Chicago; Bachelor of Science with distinction. Dr. Kenkare graduated Medical School: University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine; Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Kenkare was drawn to the field of dermatology based on her love of the arts as well as her passion for science. She grew up in Willowbrook, Illinois, where she attended Hinsdale South High School. Dr. Kenkare is a proficient Spanish speaker. In her free time she also enjoys the arts and Zumba. Her artwork is displayed in shows throughout the city of Chicago.
