My name is Shelley Birnbaum and I am passionate about skin care. I believe it is important to get to know you and your skin by identifying internal and external root causes to skin issues. I believe the only way to truly have healthy skin is to create a long-term, personalized holistic program using organic, eco-friendly products and processes. My love for an organic, eco-friendly lifestyle was sparked in 1970 during the first Earth Day celebration in my hometown of New York City. Developing chemical sensitivities and a chronic illness, I began my journey to wellness that led me to where I am today. It’s along this path that I learned what holistic health and healing really is. I studied about herbs and aromatherapy as well as the ancient traditions of the Auryveda rejuvenation treatment and chakra balancing. I also discovered that so many personal care products contained toxic ingredient which led me to create my own skin care line. As a master esthetician with more than 25 years of experience, I have honed in on what really works when dealing with skin issues or to simply maintain your natural beauty. You don’t need an over-the-counter skin cream, or the latest fad, you need serious skin care. Serious skin care isn’t about covering cosmetic issues; it’s about nurturing your skin, bringing balance to damaged skin, and allowing your skin’s natural radiance and beauty to shine through on its own.
