About Selina M. Hamill
Dr. Selina Hamill was born in Houston, Texas and received her BA from Rice University, where she graduated cum laude. Dr. Hamill completed medical school at the University of Texas in Houston. Her academic achievements were recognized by induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society, where she was elected president by her peers. After completing her internship in internal medicine at the University of Texas in Houston, Dr. Hamill completed her dermatology residency at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and University of Texas, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in dermatologic laser surgery under the direction of Dr. Paul M. Friedman in Houston, Texas.Throughout medical school and residency, Dr. Hamill has been an enthusiastic student, researcher, and teacher. She has published in multiple peer reviewed journals and presented her work at national conferences. She is committed to the highest standards of patient care and is thrilled to be practicing in Los Angeles.
