About Sejal Patel
I grew up a native of Southern California. After completing my scientific studies at the University of California Berkeley, I was admitted to an Ivy League medical school, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York. My concurrent studies in figurative sculpture at the Manhattan School of Visual Arts integrated my perceptions of anatomy and form. After becoming a doctor, I completed eight additional years of rigorous surgical training, performing thousands of operative procedures and studying proven techniques of surgeons on both coasts before starting private practice as a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. I am fully trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery from the University of California Irvine and in general surgery from Lenox Hill Hospital and I am certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Additionally, I have co-authored a book chapter on aesthetic gluteal surgery, a manuscript in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, and presented my research at the national meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Rhinoplasty Society Meeting and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Rhinoplasty Symposium.
