I am a second generation Taiwanese-American. I grew up in Houston, Texas, but I have been in sunny California since 1989. I graduated from Stanford University undergraduate program with honors and distinction in biology, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. I attended the University of California at Los Angeles for medical school, internship, and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery training, and I then returned to Stanford for fellowship.
