About Sassan Alavi, MD
The Head Cosmetic Surgeon and Medical Director for the Center for Cosmetic Surgery in San Diego California is Sassan Alavi, M.D., F.A.A.C.S. He performs all forms of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Alavi explains his philosophy. Our goal is to continue the quality, caring and affordability that 20 years of experience has brought to our patients at the center. Dr. Sassan Alavi specializes in a complete range of Plastic Surgery procedures. During the last few years, he has published both nationally and internationally and has received many awards for his work. He received his Medical degree at the University of Southern California. Subsequently, he attended one of the nation’s top residency programs at UCLA and was boarded in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. He pursued the field of Cosmetic Surgery by attending a full year of fellowship in Facial Plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He then continued his training by completing a second fellowship in Liposuction and Breast Surgery with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in San Diego. After receiving acclaim from colleagues and patients, he is now well known for his natural and scarless surgical results. In the last decade, he has performed over 20,000 plastic surgery procedures. He presently serves as an active board member for American Academy of Plastic Surgery, California Society of Cosmetic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery Foundation. He is also an advisor for the American Society of Liposuction Surgery and recently served as the moderator for the World Congress for Liposuction in Washington, D.C.
