About Samuel D. Buonocore, MD
I am thrilled to be a part of the Saint Francis Health Care Team, and bring my expertise in plastic & reconstructive surgery, and my advanced training in hand and microsurgery to the patients of Saint Francis Hospital. I obtained my MD from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse NY. I then completed the Yale Plastic Surgery Residency, and the Yale Hand & Microsurgery Fellowship. My practice at Saint Francis will include all aspects of reconstructive plastic surgery. My goal is to provide care for patients with a wide range of conditions, which may include cancer, traumatic injuries, hand problems, wounds and more. I have been fortunate to serve as a US Peace Corps volunteer, and take part in multiple medical missions with organizations such as Hand Help Inc., & Operation Smile International. I look forward to continuing the mission of healing with the Saint Francis HealthCare team.
