About Ronald S. Perlman, MD
Dr. Ronald S. Perlman is a highly skilled and well-established Plastic Surgeon with a successful practice serving patients from the Washington, D.C. area and around the world. He is highly regarded by his patients and peers for his surgical skills and aesthetic sensibility. He believes in an individualized approach to each patient in order to attain outstanding results. His personal diligence and compassion distinguish him from other plastic surgeons, as does his extensive training. Dr. Perlman specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face and body, as well as reconstructive surgery. Dr. Perlman offers a unique combination of skills to his patients, while striving for excellence. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from American University, Dr. Perlman attended Howard University College of Medicine and completed both his General Surgery training and his Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. Following his Residency, he completed a fellowship at the University of Alabama Hospital in Hand Surgery and Micro-vascular Surgery. Dr. Perlman has been in private practice in the Washington, D.C. area since 1984. He is one of the area’s leading cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Perlman is also very active in the community, serving as Chairman of the Board for Second Chance Employment Services, a Washington charity that helps find jobs for abused and underprivileged women.
