About Robin Knuttel, MD
Dr. Robin Knuttel is a Board Certified Dermatologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UC Davis Medical School. Dr. Knuttel graduated from Seton Hall University magna cum laude in 1981 with a BS in Biology. She was awarded the “Biology Medal” as the top-graduating student. After completing her Internal Medicine training at Tufts University School of Medicine, she did her dermatology residency at UC Davis. During her third year of residency, Dr. Knuttel received the “Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship Grant” and completed a mentorship in hair disease at UC San Francisco. After completing her residency in 1997 from UC Davis, Dr. Knuttel stayed on as a faculty member as a general, surgical and cosmetic dermatologist. In 2011, Dr. Knuttel joined the Division of Plastic Surgery at UC Davis Medical School and developed expertise in non-invasive cosmetic procedures including: BOTOX© Cosmetic, dermal fillers, laser therapies and skin care.
