About Robert Menard
I graduated first semester Phi Beta Kappa (given to the top five students) from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, with a B.A. in both Classics and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. I was a United States Fulbright Scholar and studied in Rome, Italy under the Nobel Prize Winner, Dr. Rita Levi-Montalcini. I went on to receive my Medical Degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1992, where I graduated with the Dean's Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine. I then completed General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residencies at Stanford. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 1998, I completed a one-year Fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the Australian Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide, South Australia, specializing in the latest craniofacial surgery and endoscopic and facial recontouring techniques.
