About Robert Lin, DO
Dr. Robert Lin is a dermatologist specializing in general and surgical dermatology with a focus in the treatment of skin cancers utilizing the Mohs micrographic technique. As a Southern California native, Dr. Lin graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After spending years working in the private sector, he developed an affinity towards helping others and eventually decided to pursue a career in medicine. His hard work and diligence led to his acceptance to a highly competitive graduate program at Kansas City University. There, he developed a strong interest in dermatology and focused his research in developing new methods of diagnosing dangerous skin cancers. Upon earning a masters degree after completion of his research, Dr. Lin moved back home to southern California to attend medical school at Western University of Health Sciences. He spent the next four years expanding his medical knowledge while incorporating several fundamental values of treating his patients as a whole instead of a condition. After graduating medical school, Dr. Lin interned at Westchester General Hospital for a year prior to starting his dermatology training with the University of North Texas for the following three years. He even went on to complete an additional one year fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
