About Robert Ecker, MD
Doctor Ecker is an experienced, board-certified dermatologist. He joined Eastern Connecticut Dermatology in March of 2014, offering a full service medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology office. Doctor Ecker obtained a bachelors degree in biochemistry from the University of Colorado and worked in pharmaceutical research for nearly 10 years before returning to the University of Washington School of Medicine to earn his MD degree. He completed his medical internship at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle and then trained in dermatology at the University of Wisconsin. He also served as Chief Resident in his last year of training. In his spare time Dr. Ecker enjoys cooking, the outdoors, playing banjo and guitar and spending time with his children. Dr. Ecker has enjoyed taking care of the skin care needs of the people of southeastern Connecticut and becoming a member of the community.
