About Ritu S. Batra, MD, MSc, MPH
Dr. Batra is delighted to be practicing in her hometown. A native of Los Angeles, she ventured east for undergraduate studies at Harvard University after graduating Valedictorian of Palisades High School. At Harvard, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Batra graduated early from Harvard in three years and was selected from California as the youngest Rhodes Scholar. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Genetics at the University of Oxford, England. Dr. Batra earned her medical degree with honors from Harvard Medical School, where she was President of the Student Council. She also earned a Master’s degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her Internship, Residency, and Chief Residency in dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. She returned to Boston for fellowship training in Dermatologic, Laser, Cosmetic and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill as well as clinical research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
