About Risa Gorin, DO
Dr. Gorin is a board-certified dermatologist who graduated Cum Laude from the University of Richmond, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- School of Osteopathic Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM) receiving the “Excellence in Humanities Award”. Dr. Gorin pursued an Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut, and then completed her residency training in Dermatology at St Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York. She served as Chief Resident in her third year of residency. Dr. Gorin serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine at UMDNJ-SOM, is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. Dr. Gorin has been in private practice since 2004 providing general medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care. She treats patients of all ages and has experience with a diversity of ethnic skin types. Her practice philosophy is to deliver thorough, high-quality care in a warm and friendly environment.
