About Richard W. Siy, MD
Dr. Siy is a proud Texan, born and raised in the city of Beaumont. He attended the The University of Texas at Austin with a full scholarship, graduating with a degree in business with honors. He then went on to attend medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine. Following medical school, he began his integrated plastic surgery residency at Baylor’s competitive program. This renowned program provided Dr. Siy with 6 years of dedicated training at the world’s largest medical center. Such broad exposure allowed for experience within all aspects of plastic surgery, including maxillofacial trauma, microsurgical limb salvage, hand surgery, body contouring, breast surgery, and the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Siy’s training instilled in him a dedication to patient care and communication. Through his residency program, Dr. Siy trained with some of the most respected leaders in plastic surgery. Dr. Siy’s residency also provided him the opportunity to meet his future wife. He is excited to continue his passion of practicing medicine and caring for patients, by joining Dr. Jason Bailey in practice.
