About Renee Snyder, MD
Dr. Renee Snyder is a board-certified dermatologist serving the greater Austin, TX area. She is trained to treat all aspects of skin-related conditions, ranging from common skin irritations and ailments, to diagnosing and treating skin cancer. While her main interest is in medical dermatology, she also concentrates on the skin rejuvenation aspect of skincare, which includes an organic approach to optimizing the look of the skin by using the latest cosmetic treatments to assist both men and women to look and feel their best. She is the co-founder of W3LL People, a beauty conscious line of cosmetic products that deliver natural ""no-makeup"" results by using all natural formulas. She is listed as a ""Super Doctor,"" an honor that identifies top doctors as selected by their peers, and she is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Snyder's dermatology practice is equipped with the latest technology and equipment to accurately diagnose common skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and many other skin ailments. She blends a unique combination of art and science to rejuvenate the skin in a safe and healthy manner, striving to attain the results her patients desire. She is an expert injector and uses fillers and neurotoxins (ie, BOTOX®) to create a softer facial appearance, as well as laser technology to transform the skin and remove unwanted irregularities. With precision and accuracy, Dr. Snyder also performs skin cancer screenings, and is able to diagnose and recommend treatment for various types of cancers, including the lesions, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma--one of the most dangerous forms of skin cancer. A native Texan originally from El Paso, Dr. Snyder is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her medical training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and was in the School of Medicine Honors Program and graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society. She completed her internship at Christus St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX and her dermatology residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Snyder has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, presented at several scientific meetings and been co-author of a book chapter in Dermatology in General Medicine. She is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology for the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and volunteer faculty for the dermatology residency program at the University of Texas at Austin-Dell Medical School. Dr. Snyder is a member of the Travis County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Dermatology Society, and the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member and the past President of the Austin Dermatology Society. In 2019, Dr. Snyder was named to Austin Monthly's Top Doctors 2019 list for Dermatologists in Austin, Texas.
