About Rebekah H. Clifford, MD
Rebekah H. Clifford, MD joins Granger Medical Clinic from Tanner Clinic. Prior to her return to Utah, she served in the United States Army treating soldiers, their family members, and retirees. Her last duty station was Tacoma, Washington where she was Chief of Dermatology. She is now happy to be back in Salt Lake City and live at the base of the some of the most beautiful mountains in the US. Dr. Clifford provides expert diagnosis and treatment of all hair, nail, and skin diseases for patients of all ages. She uses the safest, most effective medications including topical creams and ointments but also has extensive experience and comfort with systemic agents such as methotrexate, cyclosporine, and biologic agents for the treatment of many dermatologic conditions in both children and adults. She has over ten years of experience in dermatologic procedures including surgical excision of skin cancers and benign skin lesions such as moles, cysts, and lipomas and cosmetic procedures including Botox and chemical peels. Dr. Clifford believes that medical decisions should be made together as physician and patient. It is important to her to fully educate each patient about their diagnosis, prognosis, and possible treatments including risks of these treatments so that the physician and patient can come to a decision based upon the recommendations but also in accordance with the patient’s desires. In order to provide her patients with the highest standard of care, she strives to continuously educate herself and stay ahead of advances in Dermatology. Her peers have noted her studious approach and tireless devotion to understanding complex, atypical, or rare conditions fully and to coordinating care with other physicians or ordering labs or studies when needed to ensure the patient is appropriately cared for.
