About Rafael Gottenger, MD
Dr. Rafael Gottenger is a highly trained plastic surgeon, with double board certification in the USA and Venezuela, with special interest in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery of the breast, body and face. He is graduated from the prestigious Ohio State University where he repeat his training in Plastic surgery, which allow him to be a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in the USA. Part of his past training also includes fellowships at EVMS, Virginia in Microsurgery and Craniofacial Surgery. Before coming to the United States he trained as a general and plastic surgeon at the Central University of Venezuela. Dr. Rafael Gottenger is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Greater Miami Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Venezuelan Society of Plastic Surgeons between others societies. As a board certified plastic surgeon he has been practicing in South Miami since 2004 with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Gottenger’s private practice includes all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, with great dedication to enhance the appearance of the face, breast and body, He performs many cosmetic procedures, including: Botox, dermal fillers, PRP injections, blepharoplasty, face lift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, otoplasty and skin cancer reconstruction, however he is really passionate to sculpting female body through breast augmentation, breast lift (mastopexy), breast reduction, liposuction and tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). Dr. Gottenger’s also provides his patients exceptional technical skill in breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery.
