About Rachel Pritzker, MD
Rachel Pritzker, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified dermatologist who graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree from Emory University. She completed her medical education at Rush University, where she graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, indicating placement at the top of her class. Dr.Pritzker completed her residency in dermatology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, followed by a prestigious Laser, Cosmetic and Dermatologic surgery fellowship at SkinCare Physicians in Boston, with clinical faculty from the Harvard and Yale Departments of Dermatology. Dr. Pritzker has presented at both local and national professional meetings, published several articles for peer-reviewed journals and dermatologic textbooks, and has participated in research trials for innovative laser devices. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatology Society, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and Chicago Dermatologic Society. She is a consulting physician at Cook County Hospital and is actively involved in teaching dermatology residents. Dr. Pritzker focuses her practice on both general and cosmetic dermatology. She places a strong emphasis on patient education and mapping a comprehensive treatment plan suitable for each individual patient. Dr. Pritzker specializes in injectables, such as Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra, Radiesse, and laser procedures for red blood vessels, brown spots, and laser resurfacing. She grew up on the North Shore of Chicago and enjoys traveling, hiking, and photography.
