About Pramod K. Sharma, MD
Dr. Pramod K. Sharma joined The Ear, Nose and Throat Center in January 2007. His primary interest is head and neck oncology. Dr. Sharma has special interest in the surgical management of head and neck tumors, including cranial base tumors, thyroid/parathyroid tumors, and head and neck melanoma. He also specializes in reconstructive surgery, including microvascular free tissue transfer and facial reconstruction. Dr. Sharma received his MD from the State University of New York at Buffalo with summa cum laude honors. He completed a residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Cincinnati. He obtained specialized training at the Ohio State University with a Head and Neck Surgical Oncology fellowship. Following this fellowship, he was a member of the faculty at the University of Michigan. In 2001, Dr. Sharma moved to Utah where he was a faculty member of the University of Utah School of Medicine and the Director of Head and Neck Oncology program at the Huntsman Cancer Center until 2007. He is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Sharma is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American Head and Neck Society, American Medical Association, and the Utah Medical Association.
