About Paul Pearce, MD

My path to becoming a plastic surgeon started as a child growing up as one of two sons that frequently accompanied my father to hospitals on weekends to round on patients. I knew from an early age that I would one day become a physician. After finishing medical school I completed my General Surgery Residency training in various hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, working alongside some of the leading cancer surgeons in the country. Despite caring for a full range of patients in every capacity from Trauma to Intensive Care to outpatient surgeries, it was always the cases with the Plastic Surgeons I trained with that got me the most excited. Near the end of my General surgery training, I was accepted to the University of Texas Health Science Center Plastic Surgery program in San Antonio, Texas. There I had the privilege to work with many excellent plastic surgeons in both the Cosmetic and Reconstructive realms of Plastic Surgery. My training during that time focused on implant and autologous breast reconstruction, microsurgical reconstruction of both the breast and head/neck, abdominal wall reconstruction and extremity reconstruction. My cosmetic training focused on breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, both surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation methods, and many other procedures. Today I am proud to have my practice here so that I can focus on treating patients the way that I have always wanted. During our initial meeting, we will take the time to discuss your goals and determine the best course of action to achieve them. I meet with every cosmetic patient twice before the day of surgery to address any concerns, go over the surgical plan, and answer any last-minute questions. With a focus on attention to detail, listening to your needs, and being able to provide you with multiple options to achieve your goals, my intention is to make your experience with us here at Pearce Plastic Surgery the best it can be!
