About Patrice M. Healey
Patrice M. Healey, M.D. received a Bachelor or Science in Chemistry in 1980. She graduated Suma Cum and Phi Beta Kappa with a cumulative GPA of 3.93. During the summers while in college, she worked in the laboratories of McDonnell-Douglas-Astronautics – MDAC – and was hired as a chemical engineer upon her college graduation in March 1980. She worked on projects for the space shuttle, as well as the previous space payload rocket – the Delta Rocket. In September, 1980, She entered University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical School, graduated with honors and was awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society. Next came an Internal Medicine Internship and Dermatology residency, both at UCLA, where Dr. Healey was appointed Chief Resident in Dermatology in her final year of Residency. In July, 1988, she passed the Nation Board exam and joined her current group, Dermatology Associates Medical Group in Beverly Hills, CA.
