About Pamela J. Royal, MD
Pamela J. Royal, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist who has been in private practice for more than twenty-three years. She graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her residency in dermatology at Howard University Hospital. She has previously served on the advisory board of Stiefel and the speakers bureau for Novartis and Galderma. Dr. Royal is actively involved in the community. She is the immediate past chairman of the Valentine Richmond History Center and is currently a member of the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation. Dr. Royal also serves on the Boards of Bon Secours Health System, Center Stage Foundation, Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce and J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College Foundation. She is a previous chairman of the United Way Greater Richmond and Petersburg. Dr. Royal currently serves on the Board of Directors for Dominion Resources, Inc. In 2010, she was the recipient of the YWCA’s Outstanding Women Award in Volunteerism.
