About Nourollah B. Ghorbani, MD
After finishing medical school with honors, Dr. Ghorbani spent two years in military service where he worked as a cardiovascular surgery assistant and participated in more than two thousand vascular and open-heart surgeries. During his surgical training at Medical College of Pennsylvania he was involved in several research projects including mapping of carotid artery system and liver and pancreas anatomy. Later on Dr. Ghorbani completed his plastic surgery training at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. Showing knowledge and surgical skills as well as leadership capabilities he was chosen to be Chief Resident during the entire course of his training. Dr. Ghorbani then moved to California and started his private practice in Walnut Creek. He is former Chairman of Plastic Surgery Department at John Muir Medical Center and Mount Diablo Medical Center. Dedicated to teaching and improving plastic surgery treatments, Dr. Ghorbani presented his own tip rhinoplasty technique to the California Society of Plastic Surgeons in May 2000.
