About Niki Christopoulos, MD
Dr Niki Christopoulos is a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. She is fully licensed and certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only society approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties that certifies physicians in plastic surgery of the face and body, as well as the American Board of Surgery. She is an active member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, she is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is an active member of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Metro Chicago Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. A native of Chicago, Dr. Christopoulos attended the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign where she graduated with honors as a James Scholar with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish. She then received her doctorate from the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University. She went on to complete an intensive seven year General and Plastic Surgery training at Rush University Medical Center, one of the country’s leading university centers, where she served as Chief surgical resident during her last year. She has authored numerous journal articles as well as book chapters and has presented at national and international meetings on the topics of plastic and reconstructive surgery. She has been named to America’s Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as well as being selected a recipient of the Award Winning Cosmetic Surgeons award. She is a New Beauty advisor and a Real Self Hall of Fame inductee. While Dr. Christopoulos is trained in all aspects of plastic surgery, her expertise and special interest lies in cosmetic plastic surgery of the face, breast and body.
