About Nikesh K. Patel, MD
Dr Patel is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill receiving a degree in Biomedical Materials Science. During his time there he was actively engaged with numerous clubs community programs. He earned the honor of being a National Science Foundation/Engineering Research Center Research Fellow at Duke University where he participated in several research projects. Freehold New Jersey plastic surgeon – Nikesh Patel graduated from Wake Forest University Medical School where he also participated in research in the cardiac surgery and plastic surgery divisions. His training began with general surgery at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson University hospital, after which he completed his plastic surgery training at Albany Medical Center. While honing his skill in New York, he donated his expertise during a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. He provided surgical care for a variety problems from Keloids and Burn reconstruction to Cleft Lip and palate deformities. This plastic surgeon in Freehold New Jersey went on to gain advanced cosmetic surgery training at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic through an extensive 12 month fellowship that was approved by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and only offered to a select few. He perfected his skill utilizing the latest techniques in cosmetic surgery for the face, breast, and body caring for people from Ohio, the US, and around the World. He has also authored and presented articles on the cutting edge of plastic surgery and presented research at the European Society of Plastic Surgery meeting in Ghent, Belgium. He brings this world class knowledge and experience to New Jersey.
