About Nicola A. Quatrano, MD
Nicola A. Quatrano, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon who specializes in surgical, cosmetic, and medical dermatology. Dr. Quatrano has advanced fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery as well as Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser Surgery. Dr. Quatrano graduated summa cum laude from Boston College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from Dartmouth, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society, and graduated first in her class. She went on to complete her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and her residency training at New York University School of Medicine where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Quatrano pursued advanced fellowship training at SkinCare Physicians in Boston, MA where she trained with internationally recognized leaders in surgical and cosmetic dermatology. At SkinCare Physicians she completed a dedicated fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery, as well as an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery fellowship in Laser and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Quatrano is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. Dr. Quatrano has co-authored numerous scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals on dermatologic surgery, cosmetic procedures, and general dermatology, as well as a book chapter on reconstructive techniques in Mohs surgery. Dr. Quatrano has also participated in cutting edge clinical research, serving as an investigator in several FDA clearance trials that bring new products to market. In addition to her medical pursuits, Dr. Quatrano is an accomplished artist, with a concentration in oil painting and medical illustration. Her work has been featured in magazines and published in textbooks and leading medical journals. Dr. Quatrano resides in White Plains with her husband, who is also a physician.
