About Nancy G. Swartz, MD
Dr. Nancy Swartz is also the Director of Facial Rejuvenation in the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In addition, Dr. Swartz is the author and coauthor of many book chapters and abstracts. She has contributed many articles to peer reviewed medical journals including the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Survey of Ophthalmology, Review of Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Otology. Dr. Swartz has also served as an advisor, medical consultant, and speaker for several pharmaceutical companies, and is currently an advisor and speaker for Allergan Medical Facial Aesthetics, Inc. She has served on the editorial board for an online dermatology education initiative, thederm.org. Before discovering her passion for cosmetic surgery, Dr. Nancy Swartz began her career as a psychotherapist. She first received a Master's degree in Psychological Services and then completed her coursework as a Ph.D. candidate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. After working as a psychotherapist at Swarthmore College, she returned to the University of Pennsylvania to pursue her medical career. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, Dr. Marc Cohen, and their wonderful children and grandchildren.
