About Monica Nieves, Aesthetician Specialist
Hi everyone! I'm Monica, owner of Skin Care by Monik. I am from San Juan, Puerto Rico, I'm a Master Esthetician with over 20 years of experience in the Medical Spa field, and Microneedling Educator for MDPen Co. I have been passionate about the beauty industry since I was a little girl. My mother was a cosmetologist and I grew up in her salon and knew from a young age I wanted to be a part of making women feel more beautiful and confident. In 1995 I graduated from the Instituto Nacional de Belleza in Puerto Rico, and went to work with a Plastic Surgeon at a Medical Surgery/Spa until I moved to Houston, Texas in 2014, where I continued my education and graduated from The Aveda Institute in 2016. Soon After Skin Care by Monik was Introduced to Katy and Houston.
