About Mitchel A. Lautenberg, MD
Received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. He is a graduate with honors of the UMDNJ: Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. Dr. Lautenberg served his medical internship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary in New York City. He completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary followed by fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Lautenberg has been named a "Top Doctor" in many publications including US News & World Report, NJ Monthly Magazine and Inside Jersey Magazine.
