About Minh P. Thieu, MD
Dr. Minh Thieu received her MD degree from Jefferson Medical College, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and graduated as one of the top students in her class. She completed her residency training in dermatology at the Albert Einstein college of Medicine in New York. Dr. Minh Thieu is a board-certified dermatologist and has been in private practice since 2005. Her scope of practice includes medical, laser, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Her clinical expertise includes dermatologic surgery, skin cancer treatment, and cosmetic procedure such as Botox, various fillers, sclerotherapy of leg veins, chemical peels, and lasers. Dr. Thieu continues to keep up with academic challenges and strongly believes in giving back to the community. She is a clinical faculty in the Department of Dermatology of the University of Pennsylvania where she volunteers her time teaching dermatology residents and medical students. She precepts trainees at the Pennsylvania Hospital dermatology clinic, which provides care to a predominantly under-served population.
