About Michel Brones
Michel F. Brones, M.D., a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and a member of the American Burn Association has served as an Expert Witness since 1981 conducting more than a thousand IMEs, 300 depositions and 40 trial appearances evenly for both plaintiff and defense. Burn injuries represent 90% of his cases, but he has been involved in plastic reconstructive and cosmetic cases as well. Most of Dr. Brones’ Expert work is in the areas of personal injuries, product liabilities, medical malpractice, civil and criminal. Dr. Brones was a staff surgeon at the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks, California for eighteen years and was Chief Resident of Plastic surgery at the UCLA Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School and served his residency in general surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He has published several articles in The Journal of Burn Care and Rehabilitation and The Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. As well as making many presentations to medical groups in California, Dr. Brones has also presented papers on burn injury treatment internationally in New Delhi, India, Seoul, South Korea, Geneva, Switzerland and Stockholm, Sweden.
