About Michael S. Lehrer, MD
Dr. Lehrer grew up in the Philadelphia area and has practiced with DAOPM since 2005. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was likewise elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Lehrer performed an internship in Internal Medicine, a fellowship in skin cancer and his residency in Dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed post-doctoral fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology. Dr. Lehrer serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania where he teaches dermatologic surgery to young physicians. In 2015, he was awarded Teaching Professor of the Year. Dr. Lehrer has been named as a Top Doctor in Dermatology by Philadelphia Magazine in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
