About Michael Groth
Dr. Groth graduated first in his undergraduate class at the University of Florida, where he was selected for Phi Beta Kappa. He also graduated first in his class at the University of Miami, School of Medicine, where he was president of Alpha Omega Alpha. At Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Groth took his internship and was chosen as Intern of the Year. He completed his residency at UCLA Medical Center’s prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute. Dr Groth did his fellowship training in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at UCLA. Dr Groth is a board certified ophthalmologist as well as a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has practiced in Beverly Hills for more than 25 years. As an Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA School of Medicine, he teaches regularly. Dr. Groth has lectured extensively and has authored many articles and book chapters on Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Groth is one of a small number of fellowship trained ophthalmic plastic surgeons in Southern California. His practice is limited to cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid and eyebrow surgery. Dr. Groth has successfully performed thousands of eyelid and eyebrow procedures.
