About Melissa Vialpando, Aesthetician Specialist
Melissa Vialpando found her passion in skincare in 2001 while managing a high-end beauty retail store. She decided to pursue her love for skincare after many years in the beauty industry; becoming a licensed esthetician in 2009. Her drive for education and knowledge of more advanced skincare techniques took her to Atlanta for a Medical Aesthetics certification in 2011. Melissa opened her own skincare practice in 2012, offering facials, dermaplane, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, waxing, lash extensions and more. She again found herself wanting to know more about medical aesthetics and went back to school in 2015 to get her Medical Assistant Certification. She began working with Dr. Lee Goldberg in his cardiology office later that year, while continuing to practice skincare on evenings and weekends. Melissa has become a certified laser technician (CLT), laser safety officer (LSO), certified in microneedling and non-invasive body sculpting. Dr. Goldberg and Nurse Practitioner Scott Lopez's interest in a Medical Aesthetics Practice, along with Melissa's background in skincare is what brought them together at Tucson Vein & Body.
