About Mehul M. Mehta, MD
Dr. Mehul M. Mehta is a world-renowned hand, plastic, and reconstructive surgeon with extensive experience in the treatment of wrist fractures, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren’s contracture and severe soft tissue injuries. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Surgery of the Hand (CAQSH). He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Oakland University William Beaumont Medical School. Dr. Mehta also specializes in the treatment of congenital disabilities (including pediatric), hand problems and injuries in children. Dr. Mehta has gained a reputation for his knowledge and use of modern techniques along with the compassionate treatment of his patients. He is one of the few specialists in the US to perform Trigger Tome, a minimally invasive procedure to correct trigger finger. Dr. Mehta provides volunteer surgical services to victims and disadvantaged populations, in the past missions have included rotations around the world with International Surgical Missions and Operation Smile.
