About Matthew Trovato
Matthew John Trovato, M.D. is a board-certified and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon currently providing patients with comprehensive surgical services at Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, as well as serving as a clinical faculty member at Baylor University Medical Center. His hospital appointments also include Co-Program Director of the Pediatric and Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship at Medical City Dallas, and affiliations at Medical Center of Plano and Forest Park Medical Center. Dr. Trovato graduated cum laude with his Bachelor’s degree from Duke University, before receiving his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency training in General Surgery at the UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School, in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UMDNJ, and then completed a series of fellowships to further specialize his training, including in Hand and Microsurgery at the Buncke Clinic, with John Q. Owsley, M.D. in San Francisco, and in Craniofacial Surgery at UTSW Dallas.
