Mark A. Erlich, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the founder and director of Profiles & Contours at New York Plastic Surgery, P.C. and has extensive experience, training and board-certification in both facial plastic surgery and surgery of the head and neck. Dr. Erlich has received board-certification from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Erlich is on the faculty of 3 of New York's most prestigious medical schools and hospitals and is very involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, fellows and practicing surgeons. He is also involved in the teaching of anatomy of the head and neck at the Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut. Dr. Erlich attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and completed a fellowship at Einstein as well. He completed his residency under Drs. William Lawson and Hugh Biller at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Erlich is credited with introducing computer imaging to the field of plastic surgery in 1985 and has introduced several techniques to the field of facial plastic surgery. He has lectured extensively to other surgeons on these techniques in the United States and Europe and has been featured on television and in magazines in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
