About Mark J. Benjamin, MD
As the medical director of Benjamin Eye Care & Optical Shop, Dr. Benjamin brings a wealth of experience to our office. Dr. Benjamin earned his BS degree from the University of California, San Diego before completing his medical school training at The University of Health and Sciences in Chicago. Dr. Benjamin completed his Ophthalmology residency at Cook County Hospital. Dr. Benjamin also has experience as a Medical Corpsman in the U.S. Air Force, and has served as an RN and ER nurse.
