Marie, came to the United States in 1992 not knowing one word of English.With a passion for beauty and skills to match, Marie took her experience as a skin care salon owner in Czech Republic and brought it to a well-known Oak Street spa where she honed her craft and learned the language. Five years and many loyal followers later, Marie established Ambra European Day Spa, home of her signature European Facials on Rush Street.Where she has devoted her professional life to achieving excellence, as a successful business woman, company owner and skincare specialists . She has drawn on her years of experience and her creative vision to open her first spa in 1998. Marie has always continued to educate herself by attending business building and beauty workshops. Traveling to Europe for variety of study, business opportunities and new trend updates. She has an ambitious work ethic, striving to always improve her business and exceed expectations of hers salon/spa clients. In 2008 expending 8,000-square-foot- new location on One West Superior Street. Ambra Salon and European spa strives to provide clients with a refuge from the stresses of everyday life. Her staff is dedicated to bringing balance trough it's hair care and spa services. Marie, is a strong believer in superb service and a ""can do"" attitude and believes that putting customers first is top priority for One Fine Day Spa & Salon. “As an extremely busy entrepreneur, I know how important it is to take time out of your busy schedule and do some things for you. This is what attracted me to the spa business” It is Marie’s vision and philosophy that have made AMBRA SALON & EUROPEAN SPA such a special, tranquil, motivated and happy place.
