About Malini Fowler, MD
Dr. Malini Fowler is a Board Certified Dermatologist that completed her undergraduate studies and graduated summa cum laude from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. She earned her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her internship in General Surgery at Thomason Hospital in El Paso and then returned to Lubbock to complete her residency in Dermatology at Texas Tech University. After residency, Dr. Fowler spent several years in private practice in Kansas, Maryland and Washington before returning to Texas. Dr. Fowler is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She enjoys medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. Dr. Fowler moved to San Antonio in 2016 with her husband, Justin, a physician in the U.S. Army, and her 2 young boys. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, chasing her boys around and Peloton.
