M. Reza Vagefi specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear drainage system, orbit and face. His areas of expertise and interests include: aesthetic facial rejuvenation, disorders of the eyelid and tear drainage system and orbital disease.After earning a bachelor's degree in French from Johns Hopkins University, Vagefi completed medical school at Yale University. He completed an internship at Stanford University followed by an ophthalmology residency at UCSF. During his residency, he was awarded the Starr E. Shulman, MPA fellowship by the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. He then spent two additional years training in oculofacial plastic, reconstructive or orbital surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
