About Louis W. Apostolakis, MD
Dr. Apostolakis Our goal is to help you look like the person you feel you are. For nearly two decades I have dedicated my career to giving patients a healthy, natural look that allows others to appreciate their beauty without any unnatural distractions. In short, I strive to give you the most natural look imaginable, delivered with the personal care you deserve, for a total package that exceeds even the highest expectations. Dr. Apostolakis is a Board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon and has limited his practice to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, commonly referred to as plastic surgery. Dr. Apostolakis is also a Board-certified Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgeon. Dr. Apostolakis received his subspecialty training in Facial Plastic Surgery from E. Gaylon McCollough, the world-renowned surgeon practicing at the McCollough Institute in Gulf Shores, Alabama. He has been practicing medicine in Austin since the fall of 2001 and moved into his new facility in July of 2012. Dr. Apostolakis was born in Toledo, Ohio where he resided through his high school graduation. He continued on to The University of Michigan where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Economics. He received his medical doctorate at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and continued to The University of Iowa where he completed his residency in their highly acclaimed department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, which is consistently highly ranked as one of the top programs in the country according to US News Health. Dr. Apostolakis completed his Facial Plastic and Reconstructive training serving as a fellow with Dr. McCollough at the McCollough Institute. He currently performs all the cosmetic services in a fully equipped, AAAASF accredited, private operating suite located within the office.
