About Lisa F. Schneider
Dr. Lisa Schneider is a specialist trained in microsurgical reconstruction of all areas of the body in addition to hand and cosmetic surgery. A longtime advocate of women’s health issues, she has a particular interest in breast reconstruction, both using implants and the body’s own tissue for free flap DIEP reconstruction. Using the body’s own tissue or “autologous” reconstruction uses microsurgical techniques to move tissue from the abdomen (DIEP flap) and other areas of the body to create a new breast. Dr. Lisa Schneider is certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
