About Lindsey Webb
Dr. Webb is a native Atlantan and she attended The Westminster Schools. She graduated from Brown University after designing her own major in international environmental health. She spent her summer holidays in Nepal and Kenya working for local hospitals and the Centers for Disease Control, which solidified her passion for medical and surgical missions. She has since volunteered on multiple trips to Nicaragua, Bolivia, and Togo, performing hundreds of procedures that addressed problems like burn scar contractures, breast cancer, hand fractures and cleft lips. Not only have these experiences broadened her surgical training, they have enriched her personally and have enabled her to communicate with people of many cultures and ethnicities with a strong sense of empathy, compassion and patience. After college, she spent two years working for Children’s Hospital Boston and Massachusetts General Hospital, honing her research and analytical skills that have enabled her to publish scientific articles and present research at the national, regional and local levels, including the annual meetings of the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the Southeastern Surgical Society and the North Carolina Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Webb completed both medical school and her six-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. She trained under world-renowned plastic surgeons and completed over 5,000 surgical cases that covered the full scope of plastic surgery. During her Chief Resident year, she managed her own cosmetic surgery clinic, mastering techniques in rhinoplasty, endoscopic brow lift, blepharoplasty, breast augmentation and weight-loss surgery. Her specialty interests include breast surgery, aesthetic facial surgery, body contouring and cancer and wound reconstruction, incorporating the latest innovations in microsurgical techniques.
