About Lindsay R. Sklar, MD
Dr. Lindsay Sklar completed her Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology fellowship in addition to her Laser Surgery and Cosmetics fellowship at UC Davis and at The Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Northern California. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where she graduated with honors. After playing professional basketball overseas for a year, she completed her medical training at Wayne State University, where she received the Academic Achievement Award and Distinction in Biomedical Research Award. After medical school, she completed an internship at St. John’s Hospital in Grosse Pointe followed by a dermatology residency at Wayne State University, where she served as chief resident. She has over thirteen publications which include research on surgical technique, cosmetics, and the effects of light on the skin. Dr. Sklar continues to work and teach at Wayne State University. Dr. Sklar’s practice includes medical, surgical, cosmetic, and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Sklar is available for appointments at the Northpointe Medical Plaza in Berkley, the Keystone Medical Center in Novi (Mohs only), and the Millennium Medical Building in Farmington Hills.
