About Leonardo Pena, DDS
Dr. Leonardo Pena graduated as a General Dentist from Havana College of Dentistry on 1988, where he received an special award for being the highest score on his class, after that He went for a three years program to obtain his Diploma on Doctor in Normal And Pathological Physiology and taught for several years Physiology to freshman’s students at the College of Dentristy. He is recognized for his outstanding knowledge in the field of Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. He received his Diploma as Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University College of dentistry in 2000, where he graduated with Honors and received an award for having passed the best examinations. He also received an award from The American College of Prosthodontists for his outstanding undergraduate achievement. Dr. Pena is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. To date, Dr. Pena has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in all fields of dentistry including Implant, Cosmetic Dentistry and Orthodontia. Dr: Pena has supported “Hands of compassion Foundation” giving way materials and dental equipments to render free dental treatment to poor kids in Honduras; He has given support to The Orange Volunteer Fire Association, The Orange Police Union, The Stratford Police Union, The American Cancer Society, The American Diabetes Association, St. Jude, Griffin Hospital Development Funds among many others. He enjoys gardening ,traveling and sharing quality time with his wife, son, family and friends.
