About Lawrence Reed, MD, PC
Dr. Lawrence S. Reed is a board-certified plastic surgeon, a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He completed his six years of training in general surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate Hospital. He then received his plastic surgery training at the former New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, ending with a fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Reed participates in the training of plastic surgery residents and has authored numerous articles in the field. He is a clinical assistant professor of surgery (plastic surgery) at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and on staff at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, New York-Presbyterian Hospital (Weill Campus) and Southampton Hospital. Dr. Reed is active in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and is on the Board of Directors of the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Plastic Surgery Facilities. Dr. Reed is President of the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Plastic Surgery Facilities. He is also active in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
