About Laura Ritz, Tattoo Specialist
Laura Ritz received her undergraduate degree from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. She furthered her education and microblading training from Armstrong-Atlantic State University and Brow Design International, respectively. As the daughter of a dental surgeon, she spent many years working as a surgical dental assistant, where her favorite days were those spent on complex cases like wisdom teeth removal and general extractions. Later, Laura combined her love of health and patient care by working as a healthcare liason for Eli Lilly And Company- one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. Throughout that time, she studied complex disease states, with an emphasis on diabetes and its treatment. She helped implement injectable diabetes medications into physician treatment algorithm, and trained nursing staff on proper injection techniques. Through her combined decade-long service as a surgical dental assistant and healthcare liason for Eli Lilly And Company, Laura learned first-hand that practitioner expertise and overall patient experience are the two most important factors of any successful treatment. At Highbrow Microblading, Laura combines her expertise, artistic eye, and southern hospitality to ensure each client is thrilled with their enhanced brows. In addition to performing microblading procedures, Laura is also lead microblading educator at Texas Laser and Aesthetics Training Academy. In her free time, Laura enjoys painting, cooking, fishing, hiking, tennis, and spending time with her friends and family.
