About Khang Nguyen, MD
Khang Nguyen, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He practices general dermatology with a focus on medical dermatology and skin cancer. Originally from Dallas, he graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a degree in biophysics and biochemistry. He earned his medical degree, cum laude, at Harvard Medical School and completed his internship in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before returning to Dallas to perform his residency in dermatology at UT Southwestern, serving as Chief Resident. He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017. Dr. Nguyen has published articles in Pediatric Emergency Care, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the International Journal of Dermatology, among other peer-reviewed medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
